Rosemary Short is one of our Tier 1 Technical Support team members.
She helps customers reboot their equipment, conduct bypass speed tests and, if issues persist, directs them to senior tech support staff.
Rosemary applied to work for Silo 6 times!
“I really wanted to work here,” she said.
She had worked in debt collection for a long time and wanted a job where she would be providing the people she interacts with something of value.
“I wanted to help,” she said.
Now, Rosemary helps customers resolve tech support issues every workday!
“This is the best job I’ve ever had,” she said.
Rosemary studied to become a chef and worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years. From there, she worked in customer service for 9 years. As you can imagine, she has had lots of different experiences in many establishments.
When asked what stands out about Silo she said, “Everybody is awesome here and the management treats you like an equal.”
Rosemary is also really proud to work somewhere that donates to local charities.
“My niece used to work at Nova Vita and told me about the contributions that Silo has given,” she said.
In the future, she envisions herself moving up at Silo.
“The sky is the limit,” she said.
As for a personal dream, Rosemary would like to visit Turks and Caicos and stay in a hut on the ocean.
In the meantime, she is happy spending her free time drawing and colouring with her daughter Rayna and gardening in the summer.
